Journey to the Holiday Inn Resort Batu Feringhi for food writing
assignment begin on 3.30 pm at the clock.
I do not felt happy at all, what I just thinking is about a few
assignment and a lot of work that must be submitted within a short period. A
good thing is I never start even a single word on that assignment and suddenly the
word cross in my mind ´´when you have a time, you waste your time´´. I just to
want shout arghhhhhh in the bus. I seat at the back of the bus and everyone
seems unhappy. I wonder if their head has thinking same with my head to,
assignment lol. Finally, we arrived at holiday inn Resort. As a last person
going out from the bus, I try to hide my tension felling but one of the Hotel
staff with a big smile said to me, ´´ you look stress, just take a deep breath
and everything will fine´´. That word really changes me and I set my main
purpose to come here is to eat a lot of food, enjoy with my friend and forget
for a while about assignment thing. Thanks for the staff hotel that draw a big
smile on my face. Really appreciate and I will never forget her sweet smile.
Before the buffet session, we have a speech from Chef Zul who was an Executive
Chef of Holiday Inn Resort. Very motivated speech and a word that I will keep on
me is when he said if more hard you try, many good thing will come.

Now we focus on the important thing, about the food.
We had an international buffet and of course it must have appetizer, main
course and desert. The place of buffet is near the beach with an open air
concept. Can you imagine a slow wind blow your face during you eat and I tell
you, it’s very amazing and epic. I love the presentation of food because
the food plates by portion even the main course. So I can save space in my
stomach. I have only two item of food that really makes me goanna eat for non
stop. One from appetizer and one from main course. From the appetizer is Tuna
Tetaki with Shoyu Mayo. The fish is so fresh and look nice in term the
presentation. The moment of first bite is so amazing. I can fell the juicy out
from the fish, combine with my saliva and it give a fantastic taste that I can’t
forget until now. Among the appetizer, the tuna is the first finish, maybe it
is one of my friend favourite also.

The second amazing food is Pan Fried Fish Fillet with Coconut
Thai Chilli One of the selected main course. The factors that make this food
delicious are the sauce. As culinary art student, I have taste many kind of
sauce but this this Coconut Thai sauce have different taste, some kind of new
taste for me. When the sauce in my mouth. I can felt all the combination of sweet,
sour, spice in the sauce. It’s really good. If I can mention by word on this
sauce, I will said all positive thing about the Coconut Thai Chilli Sauces. This gravy is very suitable when matching with
the fish fillet. Fish uses is maybe Dory fish when it comes to the taste, the fish is well fried. the color is golden brown, its mean the fish is not over cook. The most important thing is still crunchy outside and fish meat is soft. The other food also delicious and good looking in term of the
presentation. The presentation is colourful and very interactive.
Holiday Inn Resort is the one of my Favorited when talk
about their food. An interesting place
to go with your family for holiday. But the most important thing is the
selected of food they offer. The food is affordable and delicious. I paid RM 90.00 for twelve appetizer, one soup, ten main dishes, three Ala minute food and ten dessert. Its really affordable. I back home
from the hotel with the big smile and big stomach.
